The Place
Named for the producer and author, John Golden, this is a small
intimate theater built as a home of fine plays of the 'artistic'
or 'intimate' type. The theater is owned by the Shubert Organization.
The orchestra is divided down the middle (instead of into the
usual three sections); you can't go wrong anywhere in it. But
the balcony is a hard-sell.
