This is where the pros come to try out new material before their appearances on the late night talk shows. An hour away from the tough crowds that linger in Hollywood, yet close enough to work out the kinks of a new act, the Hornblower is a standup comedian's paradise. Don't get us wrong, the comedians that play this room are first-rate pros and laughs are never in short supply. Opened in 1983, the combination restaurant/bar/club was modeled after several of the nation's best comedy venues and wins votes for one of the area's very best.
