Though not as famous as the Groundlings
or Second City, ImprovOlympic West manages to hold its own in producing
an eclectic mix of stand-up, improv and spoken word performances
that's just as funny as the more prestigious competition, without
the higher ticket prices. Audience suggestions are taken to create
entirely improvised musicals, movies and commercials and occasionally
celebrity guests take the stage. Saturday nights feature an improv
jam that allows audience members to get up and try their hand at
being funny.
