The Scene The décor throughout LAVO is, in a word, stunning. Starting in the lounge, the entryway introduces the "bathhouse" vibe with worn tile walls and water stained plaster. Overhead, 20-foot ceilings of weathered wooden beams draw the eye upwards as diners sit in leather booths and Moroccan tables. Turkish water basins flank a glass and wood screened bridge that leads to the 4,500-square-foot, second-floor nightclub, which features 40 bottle service tables.
The Food Bucking the appetizer and entrée trend, the classic Mediterranean dishes served here are meant to be shared and they are brought out throughout the course of the meal. Menu items include a wide range of dishes with Spanish, French and Italian influences. The restaurant seats 300 people and includes a 20 person private dining room and room for 100 on the outdoor Strip-side patio.
The LAVO patio, which features a hookah lounge serving a number of flavored tobaccos, is located directly on the Strip.
